A great specimen of Oregon petrified wood. Petrified wood is the name given to a special type of fossilized remains of terrestrial vegetation. This is a piece we cut, shaped and polished for a unique one of a kind ring. This is an oval that you can see the striations of the material that turned into stone. The coloring of this piece is lighter tans to darker espresso browns with little streaks of tan as well. Alan set this in a scallop silver bezel and added a hammered silver band on the back. Handmade from the stone to the silver in our studio in the foothills of Mt. Hood Oregon.
