This is Arizona Petrified Wood. Petrified wood is the name given to a special type of fossilized remains of terrestrial vegetation. This is a freeform organic shape, a bit of a rounded rectangle. The coloring of this stone is darker espresso browns and dusty rose coloring. We cut, shaped and polished this stone and then Alan set that in a flat silver bezel and added a bit of twisted silver at the top. The band is a smaller silver flat band. All handmade from the stone to the silver in our studio in Sandy Oregon.
